The following programs are administered by the Office of the Vice-President (Research and Innovation).

Distinguished Visitors Fund

Purpose: Supports visits by nationally or internationally distinguished scholars, artists, scientists, and professionals who enhance the campus' intellectual environment.

Deadline: May 31 and October 31 each year

Indigenous Engaged Research Grant Program

Purpose: This supplemental grant program is intended to support relationship building between SSHRC researchers and Indigenous communities with whom they are working in developing, undertaking and reporting on research projects.

Deadline: March 15 and October 15 each year

Killam Research Fund

Purpose:  Supports research, scholarship, and creative activities to advance our objectives in the fine arts, humanities, and social sciences.

Deadline:  April 1, August 1, and December 1 for Cornerstone Grants. Open for Conference Travel and Connection Grants.

Editing of Scholarly Journals at the ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ

Purpose: The Offices of the Provost and Vice-President (Academic) and the Vice-President (Research and Innovation) jointly offer financial support to full-time faculty who edit major international scholarly journals.

Deadline: On-going
